Apollo is finally HERE
It was a difficult birth but Apollo now has the midwife’s hands on it. We struggle to explain how grateful we are to see a new album with our logo emblazoned on the front and without resorting to cliche; the audience became the sixth member of the band.
Our show at The Apollo changed our lives, we’ve relived that night tenfold and more. It’s now yours to cherish on CD, vinyl and those ‘orrible streaming platforms.
We will be heading over to the States and Canada this November for the first time since 1776, See you there 🎸

We are so excited about the forthcoming release of the Apollo live LP but we are very sorry to say that we’ve had to delay it slightly to get all the band signatures on it. Please accept our humble apologies for our error!! The revised release date is now May 15th (Martin’s Birthday).
To explain, sadly the many hours required for each member to sign this much stock, plus the logistics involved just proved too much for us this week. Full time jobs, travel outside UK & courier hiccups just got in the way. It’s obviously not ideal but we feel sure you will love it when it arrives in May.
Steve now has repetitive strain injury so we’re sending him off to convalesce in a caravan parked in a lay-by on the outskirts of Grimsby.

We are still so overwhelmed by the love and support we’ve received on this tour. We’ve each grown an inch taller. We love those songs we wrote when we were mere whippersnappers and the fact that they’re still loved by so many people is beyond delightful.
We can’t wait to be back on stage again.

Recorded at our Hammersmith Apollo show on October 4th, we’re massively proud to put ‘Apollo’ into the world. Mixed by our pal and sound engineer Snake Newton, you can hear the jubilation in the room. Containing all the songs you’d expect plus a few rarer gems this album is an honest, vital and true representation of one of the best nights of our collective lives.
We entered this venture drinking a contradictory cocktail of trepidation and teenage cockiness. From meeting for the first time in a decade and a half in a London hotel, our collective forecast for how this would go swung wildly. A pendulum; on one end of the arc lay disaster, a brutal reminder that our time was gone – a fast disintegrating memory of minor glories past. At the other tip of the parabolla, we glimpsed a full hall, a choir of joyous exaltation to the songs we know longer own. Those songs that have stubbornly refused to leave our hearts. So join us in raising a glass to teenage cockiness.
We can’t wait for you to hear it!
